2014 MOST ANTICIPATED MOVIES
It’s been 4 months and here I’m sharing my anticipated movies of 2014(too late). Looks like 2014 is gonna be an epic year and top directors are coming back!
1.Interstellar
A Film by Christopher Nolan.The Name says it all. Interstellar is based on the treatment by theoretical physicist, Kip Thorne about wormholes. Nolan co-wrote a screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan.Sky-High expectations on this one. Nolan already got Mat McConaughey,Anne Hathway and Matt Damon on board and music is composed by Hans Zimmer.Best feature of the film is,important scenes are captured with IMAX Cameras.November 7,come soon!!
2.Gone Girl
A movie from well-respected filmmaker David Fincher and based on Gillian Flynn’s Novel.I read the book and I loved it. It’s a complicated-love-tale. The teaser-trailer looks dark and there is killer music composed by Trent Reznor(The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo).Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike are perfect cast for the movie.Gone Girl hits the theatres on Oct 3.
3.Transcendence
The story of a Modern-Arificial Intelligence-Researcher. Well-known DoP Wally Pfister turned as director with this movie.The trailers are proved what we are going to see on the big screen. Releasing on April 18.
4.Inherent Vice
Paul Thomas Anderson’s film starring Joaquin Phoenix in the lead. I love PTA movies cuz they were filled craziness and insanity. WB,give me a release date.
5.How to Train Your Dragon 2
How to Train Your Dragon was remains the best film I’ve ever seen. This movie on my wishlist for a long time.It’s coming on June 13.
6.Enemy
Based on author’s novel.Dennis Villenvue is making very good suspense thrillers. Last year he delivered blockbuster with Prisoners. The early reactions are wildly positive .I hope they will release this movie in India.
7.Exodus
Directed by Ridley Scott. Starring Christian Bale.That’s enough for me to watch this movie.Releasing on Dec 12.
8.Raid 2
The Raid:Redemption was one the best action film ever made with good script. Raid 2 received good recieved in Sundance Film Festival.It will hits the theatres on may 1st week in India.
9.Dwan Of The Planet Of The Apes
Rise of the Planet of The Apes was one of my favourite from 2011.I never expected a sequel.But it happened.The trailer looks sharp and striking.On July 18,Ceaser leads his army to theatres.
10.The Double
The story of a ‘doppelganger’.The trailers are impressive and reviews are positive. So I’m In.
11.Lucy
From the director of Leon:The Professional. ScarJo playing the title role. Recently released trailer looks terrific. And Morgan Freeman is also part of the cast. This is going to be typical sci-fi flick.
12.Edge Of Tomorrow
Directed by “Bourne Identity” director Doug Liman,very talented-writer too.When it comes to sci-fi Tom Cruise gives his full commitment. It’s based on Japanese comic book(All You Need Is Kill) by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
