Blade Runner 2049 is one of the most anticipated film of 2017. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, who helmed this year’s blockbuster "Arrival". Trailer has some wonderful shots. I can already imagine Roger Deakins holding Oscar. It has same look and feel of original. Blade Runner 2049 will be released on 6 October 2017. Everything you heard about the film is true. All the hype is real. It's one of the stunning cinematic piece of 2016. La La Land is directed by Damien Chazelle starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. The story revolves around two beautiful characters -Mia (Emma Stone) and Sebastian(Ryan Gosling).  Damien Chazelle, the guy who made adrenaline-charged WHIPLASH back with another wonderful film.The most interesting thing about Chazelle is his love or obsession for JAZZ . And it's quite indescribable. First Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, then Whiplash and Now La La Land. Each film is centered around jazz. With La La Land, Chazelle finished the trilogy of " Jazz-musician-fall-in-love-with-beautiful-women-and-goes-through-break-up-eventually-to-achieve-greater-things-in-life". II've very high expectations as he already started working on his next project " First-Man" about Neil Armstrong journey to Moon. Every aspect of the film is spectacular....

The full trailer for Christopher Nolan's latest magnum opus "Dunkirk" is out and it looks pretty good. Expecting few tracking shots(like the one from #PathsOfGlory) and Point-of-View (POV) shots in film. Most of my friends are slightly disappointed with new trailer. But I heard 5-minute prologue will sold you for sure. Dunkirk will feature over 100 minutes of footage in full IMAX 😍😍. And this is gonna be first movie  in cinematic history featuring over 100 minutes of IMAX 70MM footage. "If you know her life from start to finish,would you change the things?" Dennis Villeneuve new film ARRIVAL is based on Ted Chiang short story- "Story of Your Life". I loved the short story and it's wonderful. Films are rarely as good as books and Arrival is totally succeed in that case. Dennis Villeneuve filmmaking, Bradford Young cinematography and Jóhann Jóhannsson melancholy score is phenomenal. And such a heartfelt performance from Amy Adams. She is soul of the film._/\_ Villeneuve is one of the best story-teller of our generation. So much perfection in non-linear narration. Gentleman directed by the Mohan Krishna Indraganti, who already helmed the *well-received* Astha Chamma, Golconda High School & few other films. He succeeded as good storyteller before Gentleman & tried so hard to impress the audience with twists & turns in this one. Story of gentleman is one plot: how the wrong doings of one guy changed the lives of others. The movie opens with discussion of Ishwarya (Surabhi) & Catherine (Niveda Thomas) abt their personal life & how they fall in love with their boyfriend. By end of the first half we came to know that their bfs is/are Nani. Then we see some not so interesting twists & turns. The movie is trying to be as fascinating as possible but poor screenplay & silly moments make it bad. Most of the film is very slick sometimes. Nani is not only Natural Star but also most consistent in Tollywood. Delivered one more good performance with ease. He is very picky abt roles & succeeds every time. Nivet...

Trivikram Srinivas' AAa..is bitter-sweet flick which has all the elements of regular Trivikram film but offers nothing new in terms of story. In fact, this is what you get when you put together  Attarintiki Daredi & Son of Satyamurthy. As a big fan of Trivikram Srinivas, I'm not satisfied at all. Quite repetitive stuff from Trivikram. He is not doing any experiment with script these days. Just playing it safe. The style of filmmaking wasn't good. This is not the kind of stuff I'm expecting from Trivikram. His earlier works are much better than what's he making now. This is not the same Trivikram I cheered for when I watched Athadu. This is not the style of filmmaking I'm craving from Trivikram.
